Returned goods are subject to the following conditions. Goods will only be accepted if they are accompanied by the original proof of purchase and are still in the original
condition that they left the yard. Goods may only be returned if purchased no more than 30 days previously. All returned goods will be subject to an administration charge. |

All Tate fencing products that have been Tanalised using the TANALITH E® pressure treatment are automatically covered by our 10 year guarantee. Any Tanalised item damaged by rot or insect attack within 10 years of purchase from Tate Fencing will be replaced free of charge. Timber damaged by any cause other than rot or insect attack is not guaranteed. Timber must not have been misused in any way, and any on-site cutting or drilling made to the timber must be treated with an End coat preservative. Any timber subject to a claim must be returned to Tate Fencing for inspection with proof of purchase. The only cost covered by this guarantee is the cost of replacement of the defective timber. Consequential expenses incurred as a result of the replacing of the timber are excluded. Timber which has been placed in abnormal conditions is excluded. |

Wood that has been pressure treated will shrink as the water used in the treatment process evaporates from the timber. Because wood is a natural material and not evenly porous, not all areas of an item may dry at an even rate. This uneven drying creates tremendous pressure inside the wood which causes it to split, twist or warp as it is exposed to sunlight and air. It is very unusual for any of these natural weathering characteristics to be detrimental to the structural strength or shorten the life expectancy of the timber. |
